Applied Kinesiology/Muscle Resistance Testing

Applied kinesiology (AK), also known as muscle resistance testing, is one form of diagnosis used at LaTorre Wellness Center that examines how well a person’s body is functioning. The diagnosis determines the best combination of therapies for the patient. Since AK draws together the core elements of many complementary therapies, it provides an interdisciplinary approach to health care to evaluate a patient’s structural, chemical and mental health status. Many AK practitioners find that AK is a versatile tool for detecting and correcting various imbalances in the body which may relate to stress, nutrition, learning problems, injuries and more.
